Our Mission

Legacy Life is a church with an absolute vision to change the world. To accomplish this ambitious goal – we recognize that we must first change ourselves. We are determined to never settle in our Christian Faith. We will always look for ways to better our walk and seek God’s direction to achieve His ends.

Legacy Life is a church for those who are ready to go to the next level in their Faith. Are you tired of the status quo? Join us as we are challenged and challenge others to keep moving in this race.

Jesus famously teaches us that the mark of His followers is their willingness to serve others. Instead of the leader being the peak of the pyramid and all those below him serving the leader Jesus turns the pyramid upside-down and demonstrates that the Greatest shall be the least and the Master shall be the servant of all (Mark 9:35). It may not come naturally or easily, but the Holy Spirit honors our teaching and our commitment to serve others. Saved people serve people!

Just as physical development and personal maturity is an expectation of life, so too, spiritual growth is an expectation in the life of every Believer. Simply put, God expects every one of His followers to grow in their spiritual walk with Him. In a day when many Christ-followers claim to be nominal in their spirituality, we have committed ourselves to inspire, teach and model spiritual growth to our church and our community. Yes, growth requires change, but it is worth every effort to do so.

It is the nature of Christianity to share the Good News. The exciting thing is that New Believers normally have a LOT of family and friends who would love to hear the Good News. As this Value suggests, they are LOST, and it is our privilege to show them the way to be FOUND.

There is a Greek word that really expresses this: koinonia. It is a word that talks about the value of doing life together. It is sharing in one another’s victories, pains, challenges and … well, basically, sharing in one another’s lives. We believe in authenticity and transparency in our relationships. We lock arms and help each other out, encourage each other, celebrate together, cry together and, yes, ride motorcycles, fish, barbeque, quilt, go to movies and mountain bike together. Life is better together!

It is the nature of God to give. Human nature, on the other hand, grasps, grabs, stores and hordes. As we grow in our faith and our new God-given spiritual life, we find ourselves holding more loosely to the things of this world, and willingly investing them in the work of the Kingdom. As one grows in their faith it becomes more and more their nature to give. In fact, an indicator of spiritual maturity is one’s involvement in giving of their time, talents and treasures. But God always has the last word! He says, “Give and it shall be given [back] to you, good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over …” (Luke 6:38). Truly, you can’t outgive God!

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me
